Director of Product Management
The Director of Product Management at Tipalti will lead a team of three product managers, focusing on the Payments domain. This role involves defining and developing a product roadmap that aligns with customer needs and market trends, while collaborating closely with the development team in Israel and the broader product team. The Director will serve as a domain expert, understanding both customer requirements and product capabilities, and will engage with executive stakeholders to align product strategies with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include inspiring, leading, and developing the product management team; defining and tracking the execution of the product roadmap; managing sprint scoping; and ensuring the delivery of key product deliverables. The role also involves close collaboration with the development team and other product managers to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
Candidates should have 6-8 years of experience as a product manager for web-based SaaS B2B products, with at least 3 years in a direct management role overseeing product managers. Proven leadership and mentorship skills are essential, along with experience in startup environments. A background in software engineering is advantageous. Strong business orientation, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment are also required.
