Director, Product Management
Cellanome, a well-funded startup dedicated to addressing significant challenges in biology, is seeking a Director of Product Management to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management and commercialization of the Cellanome R3200 platform. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Strategy and is integral to the company's mission of developing next-generation technologies to unravel the complexities of biology. The position is based on-site in either Foster City, CA, or San Diego, CA.
The Director will focus on instruments and core consumables, collaborating closely with development teams to deliver market-leading products and enhance customer experience. Key responsibilities include defining and prioritizing user needs, developing product roadmaps, creating launch strategies, and executing successful product launches. Additionally, the role involves training field teams, supporting sales activities, and managing customer relationships to ensure the success and adoption of Cellanome products.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 18 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 15 years with a Master's degree, or 12 years with a PhD. A proven track record in managing successful products within the life science tools space, including multiple successful launches, is essential. The role requires a data-driven approach, technical expertise to become a product expert, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $240,000 per year, with individual pay determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
