Director, Sales Development
The Director of Sales Development at Tipalti will lead and develop a team of Sales Development Representative (SDR) Managers and their respective teams. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth by enhancing the effectiveness of the sales development function. Tipalti is a rapidly growing fintech company specializing in finance automation solutions, serving over 5,000 global clients.
Key responsibilities include managing, coaching, and mentoring SDR Managers and their teams to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline goals. The Director will establish best practices for outbound prospecting, oversee sales tools, and collaborate with field sales to implement effective pipeline-building strategies. Additionally, the role involves providing accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience leading frontline managers and demonstrated experience with both inbound and outbound SDRs. Experience selling to finance and accounting personas is preferred. A consistent track record of managing metric-driven businesses with proven results, strong leadership and coaching abilities, and proficiency in Salesforce are essential.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $117,600 to $168,000 CAD annually, with a target commission of $72,000 CAD, leading to an expected total compensation between $189,600 and $240,000 CAD annually.
