Director, Solutions Engineering
The Director of Solutions Engineering at DriveWealth will lead a team dedicated to integrating new partners through API solutions, educating them on new products, and identifying automation opportunities to enhance efficiency. This role is pivotal in expanding DriveWealth's global B2B financial technology platform, which democratizes access to financial markets via an API-based system, enabling seamless investing and trading experiences worldwide.
Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers, developing and executing the strategic vision for the Solutions Engineering organization, and partnering with Sales and Growth teams to align technical solutions with business goals. The role also involves defining and implementing best practices, playbooks, and metrics to measure team effectiveness, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements to maximize time efficiency for both DriveWealth employees and partners.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in software development, focusing on the implementation or building of external APIs, and over 5 years of experience leading and scaling technical pre-sales or solution engineering teams. Proficiency in full-stack development, with working knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform, is required. Experience with event-based programs using tools like Apache Kafka and AWS SQS is also essential. Strong communication skills, time management abilities, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindset are crucial for success in this role.
The compensation package for this position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 USD annually, based on candidate experience and technical qualifications.
