Discovery Paralegal
Wilson Elser, a national law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices, is seeking a Discovery Paralegal to join their team. This role offers a flexible, hybrid or remote working arrangement and can be located in any state where the firm has an office.
As a Discovery Paralegal, you will support a broad litigation portfolio by assisting with investigations, collections, and the organization and maintenance of discovery databases. Under the supervision of attorneys, you will perform a range of investigation and collection duties necessary to respond to litigation discovery requests. This includes obtaining and managing client documents, including electronic data, and identifying potentially relevant materials for each case. You will also coordinate efforts between client personnel, attorneys, and outside vendors, and maintain and organize evidentiary data and case-related information in accordance with best records management practices.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, with a degree in paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate being a plus. A minimum of 1-2 years of litigation paralegal experience is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written. Experience with collaboration and work management software is a plus. The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. Experience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, is also a plus.
