Employment Lawyer - Sydney
Axiom is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role offers the opportunity to work with market-leading F100 and ASX-listed organizations across multiple continents and regions. In this position, the Employment Lawyer will provide strategic and pragmatic advice on a range of employment law and workplace safety matters. Responsibilities include maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders, handling employment disputes and litigation, supporting transactional matters such as outsourcing, drafting employer responses to legal claims and letters of demand, and reviewing policies and contracts.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience working in Australia, with a strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act. They should be aware of new or pending federal and state legislation, rules, regulations, and industry developments. Experience working independently and cross-functionally is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice in Australia are required.
