Engineering Intern, Web3/AI
is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to join our Web3 and AI team. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech and crypto environment, working alongside experienced professionals on real business initiatives. You will contribute to meaningful projects that support cutting-edge developments in the Web3 and AI space, including the development of our AI platform, June, and strategic R&D initiatives.
As an Engineering Intern, you will write production-grade code for our AI platform and upcoming Web3 products. You will leverage AI tools, such as large language models and coding assistants, to accelerate your workflow and increase output. Rapid prototyping will be a key aspect of your role, transforming vague problem statements into working minimum viable products within days. Your contributions will span the full stack, including frontend user interfaces, backend logic, and on-chain interactions. Additionally, you will research and implement new large language model capabilities and blockchain standards to keep our products at the forefront of technology.
The ideal candidate has recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a similar quantitative or technical discipline from a top university. You should possess a high level of initiative, capable of unblocking yourself and delivering results without detailed instructions. Familiarity with AI tools and prompting strategies, as well as the current landscape of large language models, is essential. A builder mindset is crucial, demonstrated by side projects, hackathon wins, or active GitHub contributions. Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as TypeScript, Solidity, or Java/Kotlin, with a willingness to learn others quickly, is required. A basic understanding of blockchain technology is necessary, with bonus points for experience writing smart contracts or interacting with DeFi protocols. Clear written and verbal communication skills are also important.
This is a 6-month program with a pathway to a permanent Junior Web3 Engineer position based on performance and business needs. Compensation includes a competitive full-time salary based on experience and meaningful equity in an industry-leading company. The role is based in our London office, with a mandatory in-office presence four days per week.
