Wayve, a leading developer of Embodied AI technology, is seeking an Engineering Intern to join their Enrichment and Curation team in Sunnyvale, California. This team focuses on advancing research in embodied foundation models, aiming to enhance vehicle autonomy through sophisticated AI systems. As an intern, you will collaborate with Applied Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Software Engineers to tackle complex challenges in AI, contributing to the development of intelligent, mapless, and hardware-agnostic AI products for the automotive industry.

In this role, you will engage in projects such as training large-scale multimodal models, curating extensive datasets for training and evaluation, and developing systems that enable vehicles to perceive, understand, and navigate complex environments. Your work will directly impact the usability and safety of automated driving systems, supporting the transition from assisted to automated driving. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to lead high-impact research initiatives and publish findings in top-tier conferences like CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, and others.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field. Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow are essential. Familiarity with large-scale multimodal datasets and distributed training systems is advantageous.
