Engineering Manager (m/f/d)
Affinidi is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Affinidi Elements team. In this role, you will collaborate with global peers across product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and engineering teams to enhance and develop our multi-component platform. Your expertise in designing and building quality systems will be pivotal in fostering a high-performing team culture and driving the growth of your team members.
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team in developing secure, well-tested, and performant features for the Affinidi Elements product, primarily using TypeScript with Node.js and React. You will analyze complex problems, converting them into actionable tasks, and collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Additionally, you will advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance, guiding the team in solving technical challenges of significant scope and complexity.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver production-quality products in fast-paced, global environments. Strong leadership skills in setting vision, fostering autonomy, mentoring, and driving collaboration are essential. Technical proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React is required, along with experience in cloud-native environments (preferably AWS serverless), microservices, and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with other languages like Rust, Dart, or Go is a plus.
