In this role, you will collaborate with designers and product managers to define new features and technical requirements. Your responsibilities include proposing innovative solutions to future-proof features, participating in code reviews, and leading your team through coaching and mentorship. You will conduct performance reviews, hold regular one-on-one meetings, and plan goals and milestones to ensure team success.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing high-performance commercial software in Ruby for large-scale global projects. A strong foundation in computer science principles, including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, and design patterns, is essential. Effective communication skills are crucial, as is experience in leading and mentoring software engineers. A proactive approach to problem-solving and experience in integrating AI-enabled development practices to improve cycle times are highly valued.
