Engineering Team Lead
Tulip is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to join our Tel Aviv office, where we operate in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence required at least three days per week. In this position, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of up to ten software engineers. Your day-to-day activities will include providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and defining clear growth paths through regular one-on-one meetings and continuous feedback. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding Tulip's Tel Aviv site, contributing to its operational, cultural, and team-building foundations.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in SaaS software engineering, particularly with contemporary tech stacks and complex backend infrastructures. A minimum of two years in a people management role leading a software team is required, including experience in hiring, mentoring, and creating career development opportunities. Hands-on experience with cross-functional team leadership, technical and customer-facing feature delivery, and a strong understanding of testing and deploying systems in multicloud/multitenant environments are essential. Familiarity with integrating software components and third-party technologies, as well as experience architecting systems that incorporate agentic and generative AI capabilities, is highly desirable.
