Engineering Team Leader
Remote is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers, focusing on both backend and frontend development. The Engineering Team Leader will allocate approximately 30% of their time to management tasks, including overseeing team dynamics, providing continuous and constructive feedback, and guiding the professional growth of team members. The remaining time will be dedicated to active participation in product development. Responsibilities also encompass involvement in hiring processes, onboarding new engineers, and redesigning engineering workflows to incorporate autonomous agents for enhanced efficiency.
Candidates must have experience managing engineering teams of at least two people and possess extensive backend development experience with Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby, or functional programming languages. A strong foundation in engineering principles, a proven track record of delivering secure and scalable production systems, and practical experience with automation workflows are essential. Effective communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion are also required.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $75,450 to $169,700 USD.
