The Payroll Specialist Lead - Poland is a pivotal role within Remote's global payroll organization, focusing on delivering accurate and compliant payroll operations in Poland. This position is part of the Employer of Record (EOR) and Payroll Operations Team, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across Payroll Operations, Tax, Finance, Product, and Customer Success teams. Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end payroll execution for assigned jurisdictions, validating payroll inputs and calculations, and ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations and statutory requirements. The role also involves acting as a subject matter expert on Polish payroll regulations, resolving discrepancies, supporting process improvements, and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance payroll processes.
Candidates should possess significant mid-to-senior level experience in Polish payroll operations, including hands-on responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing. Experience managing payroll in multi-country environments or global organizations, with exposure to different payroll systems and local regulatory frameworks, is essential. A strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements is required. Additionally, candidates should be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in asynchronous and globally distributed environments.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is 152,550 zł to 171,650 zł PLN.
