Payroll Specialist Lead - Denmark
The Payroll Specialist Lead at Remote is a pivotal role within the Global Payroll Operations Team, focusing on managing end-to-end payroll processes for Denmark. Key responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert for Denmark, managing relationships with stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams. The role involves processing full-cycle payroll in-house, ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements, handling exceptions, approvals, payments, and maintaining data integrity and quality. Additional duties encompass accounting reconciliations, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), implementing and improving processes, mentoring payroll specialists, and providing backup support to regional managers during absences.
Candidates should possess payroll management experience or equivalent, with a solid understanding of payroll best practices. Proficiency in software tools such as SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets is essential. An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities is required, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary. While prior remote work experience is not mandatory, it is considered advantageous.
