Engineering Team Leader
Remote is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers, encompassing both backend and frontend disciplines. The Engineering Team Leader will dedicate approximately 30% of their time to management tasks, including overseeing team dynamics, providing continuous and constructive feedback, and guiding the professional growth of team members. The remaining time will be spent actively participating in product development. Responsibilities also include involvement in hiring and onboarding processes, redesigning engineering workflows with autonomous agents, and building reusable agentic workflows to enhance delivery speed and reliability.
Candidates must have experience managing an engineering team of at least two people and possess extensive backend development experience with Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby, or functional programming languages. A strong track record of delivering secure, reliable, and scalable production systems is essential. Proficiency in designing or adopting automation workflows, solid communication skills, and a commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion are also required.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $75,450 to $169,700 USD.
