Actuaries Unlimited (AUI), an operating partner of Strongpoint Partners, is seeking an experienced Enrolled Actuary to join their team. AUI specializes in pension administration and retirement benefits consulting, offering client-focused solutions. This role is fully remote, open to U.S.-based candidates, and provides an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization dedicated to delivering accurate and compliant retirement services.

The Enrolled Actuary will be responsible for interpreting and communicating Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plan valuation results to clients and internal actuaries. Key duties include preparing and filing PBGC reports, staying current on industry trends and legislative changes, reviewing and interpreting plan documents and amendments, advising clients on plan design strategies, and performing nondiscrimination testing. The role also involves supporting actuarial valuations, AFTAP certifications, Schedule B filings, calculating participant benefits, and collaborating across teams to ensure accurate and timely plan administration.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years of retirement plan experience, focusing on Defined Benefit and/or Cash Balance plans, and must hold an Enrolled Actuary (EA) designation. Strong knowledge of nondiscrimination testing and compliance requirements, experience with Defined Benefit/Cash Balance valuations and PBGC filings, and familiarity with advanced cross-testing concepts are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with administration systems like Relius or FT William, strong project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also required.
