The Enterprise Data Operations Lead at StarCompliance is a pivotal role within the Enterprise Data function, responsible for overseeing data feed operations and client data migration capabilities. This position combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely delivery of client data. The role involves close collaboration with teams across Research & Development, Client Support Services, Professional Services, and Relationship Management to maintain the integrity and compliance of data processes.

Key responsibilities include providing technical and operational leadership across Data Operations and Data Migration functions, acting as a player-coach to balance hands-on delivery with mentoring team members, and setting standards for operational excellence, data quality, and incident management. The role also involves owning the prioritization and workload planning across feeds and migrations, serving as the escalation point for complex data issues, and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to influence roadmap decisions and onboarding strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial services, fintech, regtech, or similarly regulated data environments, with deep domain knowledge of financial broker feeds, file-based integrations, and operational data pipelines. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL for investigation and data validation, a strong understanding of ETL processes and tooling, and proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, and SQL are essential. Proven experience leading data operations or data migration initiatives in production environments, along with excellent problem-solving skills and calm decision-making under pressure, are also required.
