Experiential Graphic Designer - Entry Level
CannonDesign is seeking an entry-level Experiential Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team in San Diego, California. This role offers an opportunity to engage in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development to final artwork production, focusing on creating impactful experiential graphics that bridge the gap between individuals, brands, and the built environment.
As an Experiential Graphic Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate their needs into compelling design solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative visual communication strategies, creating detailed design documentation such as visualizations and mockups, and preparing camera-ready artwork for fabrication. Additionally, you will work with vendors and fabricators to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related design field. A strong background in typography and previous related student internship experience are highly valued. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on a Macintosh platform is required, with skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp considered a plus. Essential qualities include a strong design orientation, effective communication skills, the ability to collaborate well, and meticulous attention to detail.
Compensation for this position ranges from $24.99 to $28.11 per hour, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
