Experiential Graphic Designer II
CannonDesign is seeking an Experiential Graphic Designer II to join their dynamic team in Arlington, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with renowned global brands across various sectors, including commercial workplaces, healthcare, and sports environments, to create immersive and impactful spatial experiences. As part of the Living-Centered Design movement, the designer will work alongside talented interior designers and architects to transform concepts into remarkable environments that inspire and connect.
In this position, the Experiential Graphic Designer II will be involved in all phases of the design process, from initial concept development to final artwork production. Key responsibilities include translating client needs into compelling design concepts, developing detailed solutions across various media types such as two- and three-dimensional graphics, signage, and exhibits, and producing camera-ready artwork for fabrication. The designer will also prepare visualizations and mockups of proposed signage and graphic content on digital models, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with design leaders and project teams.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with at least four years of relevant experience. A strong design portfolio showcasing work across diverse markets is essential, as well as proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on Mac platforms. Additional skills in Revit and SketchUp are advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong typography skills, robust communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail, with a proven track record in three-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and environments.
The salary range for this position is $68,080 to $85,100 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
