Field Engineer

Boingo Wireless is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to oversee and maintain Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) across prominent venues. This role involves ensuring optimal system performance and client satisfaction, utilizing advanced technology and collaborating with a skilled team to address complex technical challenges.

Key responsibilities include managing procurement to ensure cost-effective hardware and subcontractor labor, optimizing network performance in partnership with system integrators, and conducting routine health checks and preventative maintenance. The Field Engineer will also perform system testing, analyze system health data, and generate performance reports for stakeholders.

Candidates should possess over three years of hands-on experience as a DAS or Cellular Field Engineer, familiarity with DAS OEMs such as CommScope and JMA, and the ability to interpret construction drawings and RF schematics. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in various environments, and travel within the Southwest region as needed.
