Field Technician
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team in Huntsville, TX. The Field Technician will be responsible for collecting water and soil samples from designated locations, adhering to established protocols to maintain sample integrity. Key duties include safely operating company vehicles along assigned routes, performing on-site testing, and ensuring timely delivery of samples to the laboratory. Additionally, the technician will assist senior staff with complex laboratory procedures and maintain accurate records of all field activities.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma, with an associate's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The role requires comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions and the physical capability to lift heavy objects as needed.
Eurofins offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $20, commensurate with experience.
