Field Technician

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team in Dunedin. As a global leader in life sciences, Eurofins provides a comprehensive range of analytical testing services across various industries, ensuring the safety and quality of products that impact daily life. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the collection and timely delivery of samples from diverse locations within the Dunedin and Clutha areas.

The Field Technician will be responsible for planning and executing daily sampling programs efficiently, ensuring accurate recording of sample details, and maintaining the integrity of samples during transportation. Key duties include operating in accordance with company quality and procedural manuals, maintaining vehicles and equipment in optimal condition, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with senior staff on delegated tasks and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should possess a full, clean New Zealand driver's license and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and proficient computer skills. While a tertiary qualification in science is desirable, individuals with relevant backgrounds or life experience will also be considered. Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment and the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks or increased workloads are advantageous.

This is a permanent full-time position, offering 40 hours per week, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Eurofins offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development within a globally recognized company.
