Finance and Accounting Intern

Koley Jessen P.C., L.L.O., a dynamic law firm in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations within a collaborative and professional environment.

The intern will be responsible for performing reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts, supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, assisting with the development and analysis of cash flow forecasts and annual budgets, and contributing to the creation of internal reports through the ERP system and Power BI. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve workflows.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with integrity and discretion is also required.

This part-time position requires up to 20 hours per week during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters, with the potential to work part-time or full-time during Summer 2026. The role is on-site only, providing interns with direct exposure to the firm's operations and culture.
