Finance Associate (Mid-Level)

Ice Miller is seeking a mid-level Finance Associate to join its New York office. The successful candidate will become part of the firm's business group, collaborating across multiple offices to represent lenders and borrowers in complex financial transactions, with a particular emphasis on financing private equity acquisitions and handling both senior and mezzanine debt transactions.

The Finance Associate will manage all aspects of finance transactions, including negotiation, documentation, and closing processes. The role involves working directly with clients on sophisticated middle-market finance transactions, participating in business development activities, and supervising junior associates within the business group.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials and have three to five years of experience practicing law in a law firm or in-house environment. An active law license in New York is required, along with excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Ice Miller offers competitive compensation in a collegial, mid-size firm environment, with a salary range of $250,000 to $315,000, based on experience, plus opportunities for discretionary and hours-based bonuses.
