Frameworks Software Engineer

Tulip is seeking a Frameworks Software Engineer to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. This role involves developing and maintaining the foundational software that supports our AI-native frontline operations platform. As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to building robust, resilient, and intuitive libraries that enhance the overall developer experience.

In this position, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining clean, high-quality, and efficient code that aligns with project specifications. Your day-to-day tasks will include architecting and implementing key abstractions that bridge the gap between Software Engineering and DevOps, proactively identifying pain points in the platform, and proposing elegant solutions. Collaboration with Product and Engineering counterparts to build robust and reliable tooling is also a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of software engineering experience, particularly in building complex backend solutions within a SaaS environment. Expertise in at least one of Node.js, TypeScript, or Go is required, along with proficiency in both relational and non-relational databases. A strong understanding of cloud-native or cloud-hybrid solutions and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
