Fraud Data Analyst

Riskified is seeking a Fraud Data Analyst to join its Merchant Health Team in São Paulo. This role involves working directly with customers to enhance their performance and prevent online fraud. The analyst will be part of a growing analytics team dedicated to real-time problem-solving and investigating emerging fraud trends.

The primary responsibilities include researching and analyzing data using advanced analytical tools such as R and SQL. The analyst will master the online fraud prevention domain through hands-on analysis of live data and define and execute end-to-end technical solutions for fraud prevention challenges. Additionally, the role involves communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, collaborating with account managers, and delivering insights directly to clients.

Candidates must be fluent in both English and Portuguese and possess 1-2 years of experience in fraud analytics and complex data analysis. Proficiency in SQL and R or Python is required. The role demands strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be necessary to support a global client base.
