Prevail is seeking a Freelance Digital Court Reporter to join our innovative team dedicated to transforming legal proceedings through advanced technology. As a well-funded startup based in San Francisco, we offer a dynamic work environment where employees collaborate and grow, aiming to modernize court reporting, testimony management, and trial preparation.

In this role, you will assist with live stenographic depositions and sessions, utilizing the Prevail platform to record proceedings, swear in witnesses, mark and maintain exhibits, and monitor and manage sessions. Additionally, you will provide technical and administrative support as needed to ensure seamless operations during legal proceedings.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a current Notary License for the state of Florida, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with video conferencing and database platforms, as well as a solid working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, is essential. A comprehensive understanding of Florida's legal processes and requirements, along with basic national knowledge, is required. Candidates must also have a webcam, headset, and computer.

This position offers an hourly pay range of $20 to $25, with compensation varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
