Full Stack Developer

Acuity, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team dedicated to serving federal agencies. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Java, React, and other web technologies to develop and enhance a groundbreaking analytics platform for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. Working within an Agile development framework in a cloud environment, your responsibilities will include analyzing system requirements, implementing system improvements, and ensuring the solution aligns with current architecture and future functionality needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a BA or BS degree, along with at least 2 years of experience in Java development and 1 year in JavaScript. Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and open-source technologies is essential. Experience in delivering RESTful services, as well as familiarity with JIRA and GIT, is also required. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are mandatory for this position.

Preferred qualifications include over 2 years of experience with React, Angular, or Node.js, as well as experience in Python development. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, the Hadoop ecosystem, and Kafka is advantageous. Possession of a DHS Suitability clearance is also desirable.
