Full Stack Engineer, Guarded Releases
LaunchDarkly is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join the Guarded Releases team, focusing on enhancing the safety, speed, and reliability of software releases. This role involves redefining release processes through automation, real-time impact measurement of feature rollouts, and simplifying debugging procedures. The team is dedicated to managing the entire release process efficiently, from rollout to issue mitigation.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop observability products, leading end-to-end feature development from concept to delivery, and proactively identifying opportunities for product and user experience improvements. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, architectural design discussions, and stay updated on development trends to implement improvements in tools and processes.
The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production-quality full-stack features. Proficiency in TypeScript/React for frontend development and Go (or similar) for backend services is required. Experience with data-focused products, designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, and a strong understanding of observability and monitoring tools are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also necessary.
Compensation varies based on geographic location and experience level. For Level 2 positions, salaries range from $116,000 to $187,660, while Level 3 positions offer between $145,500 and $235,400.
