General Liability Case Manager

As a General Liability Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, assisting attorneys in developing settlements, and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. Your daily tasks will include interacting with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, ordering medical records from providers, obtaining documents to support injury and liability positions, and communicating with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will work closely with multiple coworkers involved in case management, maintain organized case files, prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under the supervision of an attorney, and present case summaries when required.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Prelitigation Paralegal, or Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster. A minimum of two years working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, proactively interact with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, and effectively manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute is also required.
