General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, P.A., a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney for their Fort Lauderdale/Plantation, Florida office. This role offers an opportunity to specialize in Personal Injury, particularly General Liability, within a premier Plaintiff PI firm. The firm is committed to providing comprehensive legal services to clients, ensuring their rights are protected against large corporations and insurance companies.
As a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney, you will be responsible for managing all pre-litigation aspects of personal injury cases, primarily automotive-related. Your duties will include drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, guiding clients through the case process, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing a team of 6-10 Case Managers. Additionally, you will handle tasks such as completing the Flip-to-Lit approval, guiding clients through the case process, and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) among your team.
The ideal candidate will possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association. A minimum of one year of personal injury experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Strong leadership skills, excellent client service and communication abilities, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills are essential. A self-starter driven by long-term career goals is highly desirable.
