Genomics Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) (jun./sen.)
Eurofins Genomics is seeking a Genomics Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with our international management team to drive sales and expand our presence in the genomics market. The position is home-office based, with frequent travel across the assigned territory and occasional visits to our production sites in Germany.
The primary responsibilities include increasing sales across all genomics services, such as next-generation sequencing, Sanger sequencing, oligonucleotides, gene synthesis, microarrays, and genotyping. The role requires establishing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline by identifying new projects and business opportunities. Regular reporting, including sales analysis, forecasting, and competitive analysis, is essential, along with intensive use of CRM systems. Collaboration with account managers and specialists is crucial to ensure an excellent customer experience, and involvement of technical experts is necessary for optimal project solutions. Additionally, the role involves organizing regional customer events and conducting product presentations to provide comprehensive advice on genomics solutions.
Candidates should reside in the area, ideally in the Berlin region, and possess a completed degree (BSc or higher) in a relevant scientific subject. In-depth knowledge of genomics applications and analysis methods is required, along with an independent, goal-oriented approach to work, including when working from home. A hunter mentality, strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential. The candidate should be a team player with high integrity and initiative, and be business fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
