Global Business Operations Manager
Workstream is seeking a Global Business Operations Manager to lead its critical data-gathering initiatives within the robotics division. This role involves managing a distributed team of Video Data Contributors and overseeing the quality of data collected to enhance robotic learning processes. The position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the advancement of AI and robotics by ensuring efficient and high-quality data operations.
Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a large, distributed team of Video Data Contributors and Quality Auditors, conducting regular sessions to address contributor issues, and implementing strategies to maintain high engagement and reduce turnover. The role also involves collaborating with recruiting teams to establish technical criteria for candidate selection, ensuring seamless onboarding processes, and verifying equipment readiness for new participants. Additionally, the manager will oversee data quality by leading review teams, updating training materials based on common issues, and troubleshooting technical problems related to hardware and data uploads.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in operations management, particularly in leading distributed or gig workforces. Technical proficiency in managing and troubleshooting multi-camera hardware setups is essential, along with the ability to train others in these technical aspects. Experience in managing teams across different regions, such as the Philippines and the US, is important, as is an analytical mindset capable of identifying and addressing issues in data collection processes.
