In this role, the Senior Customer Implementation Specialist will lead high-complexity implementations for large, multi-site customers with minimal oversight. They will act as strategic consultants, guiding clients through best practices on change management, system adoption, and business process transformation. Serving as product specialists, they will educate clients on Workstream’s HR and payroll tools, identify gaps, and recommend tailored configurations. The role involves owning the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and ensuring successful go-lives. Collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams is essential to influence roadmap priorities and share customer feedback. Additionally, the specialist will build and continuously improve scalable implementation processes, documentation, and templates, deliver executive-level presentations, and contribute to internal enablement by mentoring team members.

Candidates should have over five years of experience leading SaaS implementations for complex or enterprise-level clients, particularly in HRIS, Payroll, or B2B software. A minimum of five years in a customer-facing consulting, implementation, or technical onboarding role is required. Proven ability to manage multiple high-touch onboarding projects simultaneously, strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, and experience advising clients on process design, adoption strategy, and change management are essential. Deep project management skills, proficiency with tools like Salesforce and implementation/project management software, and the ability to train and mentor junior implementation specialists are also necessary. Domain knowledge in payroll, compliance, or HRIS is advantageous, as is prior startup experience.

The compensation package includes a base salary range of $100,000 to $115,000, exclusive of bonuses and equity. Additional benefits encompass comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision), with Workstream covering 95% of employee premiums and 85% for dependents. Other perks include in-office amenities, a stocked kitchen, a 401(k) plan, pre-tax commuter benefits, a learning and development stipend, and flexible paid time off.

Workstream fosters a mission-driven and value-based culture dedicated to empowering deskless workers and local businesses. As a Series B hyper-growth startup, it offers early employee opportunities to work closely with the founding team and industry veterans, providing a platform for accelerated career growth. The company values transparency, trust, and technology that drives positive change for the hourly workforce. (workstream.us)
