The Product Manager at Workstream will lead key product areas within the company's platform, focusing on enhancing how hourly businesses hire, manage, and retain their workforce. This role involves defining product strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision, encompassing customer discovery, hypothesis development, execution, iteration, and achieving measurable business outcomes. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, and Leadership, to identify opportunities, prioritize resources, and bring impactful products to market.

Key responsibilities include owning the product strategy and execution for a core product area, defining product vision and success criteria aligned with company priorities, and engaging with customers and users to identify patterns, pain points, and market opportunities. The role also involves partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, and Operations to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable product solutions. Additionally, the Product Manager will build and manage relationships with strategic external partners, conduct market and competitive research, take a hypothesis-driven approach to product discovery, write detailed product specifications, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to ship products efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS, growth, marketplace, or startup environments. Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance team effectiveness and an understanding of the AI landscape are important. The candidate should have a proven track record of owning product initiatives from concept through launch and iteration, strong customer empathy, excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to operate resourcefully in ambiguous environments. Experience writing product specifications and translating business needs into product execution is also required.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $150,000 to $170,000 in San Francisco, not inclusive of discretionary bonuses or equity packages. The company offers comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision, with 95% of premiums covered for employees and 85% for dependents. Additional benefits include a 401K plan, pre-tax commuter benefits, and flexible PTO.
