Eurofins is seeking a GMP Analytical Chemist to join our team in Groton, Connecticut. The GMP Analytical Chemist will be responsible for utilizing analytical methodologies, systems, and processes to support GMP release and stability testing of clinical supplies for drug substances and drug products throughout all phases of development. This includes excipient, packaging, and post-packaging support. Key responsibilities involve performing analytical testing such as compendial testing (e.g., excipients/packaging release testing), disintegration, dissolution, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, generic testing (e.g., solvents, water, ash, titrations, heavy metals, ICP/MS, UV), and compound-specific methods. The role also includes setting up and analyzing drug substance and drug product stability samples, as well as developing and validating analytical methods for drug substances and drug products.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in science or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills are essential. Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (eLN), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and data trending is a plus. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required. Preferred qualifications include experience in a GMP laboratory, particularly in analytical chemistry, and authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $22.25 to $24. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision options, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential for overtime, weekend, and holiday work based on business needs.
