Grain Inspector (Part-Time/Afternoon)

Eurofins is seeking a Part-Time Grain Inspector to join our team in Blair, Nebraska. As a global leader in analytical testing services, Eurofins provides comprehensive solutions to ensure the safety and quality of food products. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of our grain inspection processes and supporting our commitment to excellence.

The Grain Inspector will be responsible for sample probing, commodity grading, testing, and general maintenance to ensure the seamless operation of the facility. Key duties include ensuring proper flow of sample testing, acting as a backup to the Grain Prober/Sampler, accurately reporting test results, and representing Eurofins to client companies. The inspector will also test grain samples for weight, moisture, foreign material, and damage, including potential mycotoxin and non-GMO testing.

Candidates should possess a safety-first mentality, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and be responsive and action-oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 0-3 years of experience. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift up to 15 pounds. Reliable transportation is necessary.
