Group Leader – Analytical Sciences
The Group Leader – Analytical Sciences at Eurofins is responsible for leading a team of analytical scientists in the development and execution of analytical methods for protein characterization. This role combines hands-on scientific expertise with leadership responsibilities, contributing to Eurofins' mission of providing high-quality analytical testing services across various industries.
Key responsibilities include mentoring and supporting a team of analysts, planning and overseeing routine assay execution, and driving the development of novel separation and identification assays. The role involves utilizing techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, cIEF, and BioA/GX for protein and antibody separation and characterization. Additionally, the Group Leader will develop and optimize chromatography methods, including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse-phase, ion exchange, and hydrophobic interaction chromatography.
Candidates should possess a BS or BA in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on HPLC experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments. Demonstrated experience with HPLC and UPLC method development, as well as a strong background in protein and antibody separation and characterization, are essential. Prior leadership experience or the ability to mentor and guide others in a laboratory setting is also required.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with a compensation range of $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
