AlphaSense is seeking a Head of Broker Relations for the EMEA region to expand its sell-side content collection. This role involves engaging with key stakeholders in Sell-side and Independent Research Firms to promote research contributions to AlphaSense, address objections, and negotiate distribution agreements. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of these relationships and serve as the primary contact for AlphaSense.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with decision-makers at Sell-side Research Departments and Independent Research Firms across EMEA. The role involves prospecting for new research sources, managing a pipeline of opportunities, and meeting content acquisition and retention goals. Additionally, the candidate will negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements, oversee renewals, and contribute to the successful launch of new research content into the AlphaSense platform.

The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in financial services at a research or content vendor, sell-side, or independent research firm, with a focus on sell-side Investment Research. Strong existing relationships with various research and content providers are essential. The role requires experience in commercial and contractual negotiations, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing a small team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce is also required.
