Head of Business Intelligence
The Head of Business Intelligence at will lead the Business Intelligence (BI) function, playing a pivotal role in scaling reporting and decision-making processes across the organization. This senior leadership position is based in London and operates at the intersection of analytics, product development, and business operations within a rapidly expanding global cryptocurrency company.
Key responsibilities include building and managing a team of data analysts responsible for company-wide reporting. The role involves delivering high-quality dashboards, recurring reports, executive insights, and establishing self-serve analytics foundations that empower various teams, including Product, Growth, Trading, Fraud, Finance, and Operations. Collaboration with the Data Engineering team is essential to define reporting needs, ensure consistency in metrics and definitions, and drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the business.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fintech, trading, crypto, or risk/compliance data domains, and a proven track record of leading BI, analytics, or reporting teams in high-growth environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives. Proficiency in SQL, Python, BigQuery, and Google Cloud environments, as well as a deep understanding of KPI design, reporting frameworks, and dashboard best practices, are required.
Compensation includes a full-time salary based on experience, along with meaningful equity in the company. The role is based in the London office, with a mandatory in-office presence three days per week.
