Hyphen Connect is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead its global compliance framework and manage the full licensing lifecycle, serving as the primary liaison with international regulators. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions, particularly within the FX brokerage sector.

The Head of Compliance will be responsible for establishing and enhancing risk-based AML/KYC policies, monitoring suspicious transactions, and performing MLRO functions to maintain regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role involves reviewing trading instruments and marketing materials to mitigate risks associated with copy trading, automated strategies, and misleading claims. Collaboration with the Risk and Trading teams is essential to monitor for abnormal trading behaviors such as arbitrage or latency abuse. Developing internal standard operating procedures, supporting external audits, and ensuring global compliance with data protection regulations like GDPR and PDPA are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline, along with 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in compliance within a trading platform, brokerage, or fintech environment. Strong familiarity with at least one major regulatory regime (e.g., ASIC, FCA, CySEC, MAS) is required, and professional compliance certifications such as ICA or CAMS are highly preferred. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to balance regulatory adherence with business growth, exhibiting strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
