The Head of Legal Operations at TikTok leads a global team dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's legal department. The role also encompasses driving knowledge management initiatives, establishing and tracking legal department metrics, aligning budgeting and forecasting processes, leading cross-functional initiatives to streamline legal workflows, and maintaining core operational processes and training programs.
Candidates should have a proven track record in leading legal technology implementations, such as contract lifecycle management (CLM) and e-billing systems, along with strong analytical and financial acumen. The ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence organizational strategy is essential. Experience with AI-powered legal technologies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a global perspective with experience managing distributed teams are also highly valued. A Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred but not required.
TikTok offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary range of $189,200 to $369,600 annually, with potential for additional discretionary bonuses and restricted stock units.
