Head of Litigation
The Head of Litigation at BridgeBio Pharma is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Legal Officer. This position entails full ownership of the company's litigation and disputes portfolio, encompassing areas such as patent and intellectual property disputes, securities and shareholder matters, commercial and contract disputes, employment and labor issues, regulatory and government enforcement actions, and internal investigations. The role is pivotal in navigating the complex legal landscape of a publicly traded biopharmaceutical firm dedicated to developing transformative medicines for patients with unmet needs.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing litigation strategies aligned with the company's objectives and risk tolerance, selecting and managing outside counsel with a focus on quality and budget discipline, and advising senior leadership and the Board on material litigation exposures. The Head of Litigation will also interface with government agencies and regulators, lead internal investigations, and oversee public company litigation disclosures. Additionally, this role carries direct responsibility for labor and employment legal counseling and support across the firm.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing a diverse litigation portfolio within the biopharmaceutical industry.
