Head of Risk

The Head of Risk at Hyphen Connect will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management frameworks for the company's global institutional crypto exchange. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust risk practices within the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency industry.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining risk management frameworks for lending and trading operations, conducting thorough risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring and reporting on risk exposure and performance to senior management, and providing guidance and training to team members on risk management best practices.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in risk management within traditional finance or cryptocurrency sectors. A strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and regulatory frameworks is essential, along with a proven track record of developing and implementing risk management strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities, are also required.
