Health & Safety Specialist (d/m/w)

The Health & Safety Specialist will join the Business Development Team at Autohero, a subsidiary of AUTO1 Group, Europe's leading digital automotive platform. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency within the Autohero Production Department, which ensures the top quality of Autohero's vehicle inventory. Autohero offers customers a convenient, secure, and transparent online platform for purchasing high-quality used cars.

Key responsibilities include serving as the expert in occupational safety, advising team leaders and employees at production sites near Berlin and Regensburg on all safety-related matters. The specialist will define and implement preventive measures to protect against workplace accidents, monitor and document health and safety risks in work processes and environments, and develop and execute improvement proposals. Additionally, planning and organizing training programs fall under this role's purview.

Candidates should possess commercial experience or a background in the automotive sector. Further training or several years of experience as a safety specialist is desirable. Strong knowledge in occupational safety, a solution-oriented approach, self-reliance, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in German is required, with English skills considered a plus.
