High Value Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a High Value Case Manager to join their team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves managing complex cases, interacting with clients, negotiating settlements, and organizing case files, all while demonstrating strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
As a High Value Case Manager, your primary responsibilities will include daily interactions with existing and potential clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, both via phone and in person. You will order medical records from providers, obtain necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, and interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers, negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers, and work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files. Maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands, and assembling support for submission to carriers are also key aspects of this role.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and have at least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience. Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, practices, calendar depositions, mediation, and hearings are essential. Strong negotiating skills and a winning attitude are also important.
