High Value Case Manager

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a High Value Case Manager to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves managing a varied caseload, assisting attorneys in developing settlements, and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, empathetic, and highly organized.

As a High Value Case Manager, your key responsibilities will include proactive daily interactions with existing and potential clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, both via phone and in person. You will order medical records, obtain documents to support injury and liability positions, and interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers and deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files, maintain organized case files, prepare comprehensive demands, and interact with attorneys to present case synopses when required.

To qualify for this position, candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and at least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience. Prior experience as a case manager is also preferred. The role requires the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, practices, calendar depositions, mediation, and hearings are essential. Strong negotiating skills and a winning attitude are also important.
