HR Tech Project Manager (12 months FTC)
Canva is seeking an HR Tech Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of cross-functional initiatives within the People Group. This role focuses on technology-enabled outcomes, process redesign, organizational change, system implementations, and capability uplift. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across People Operations, IT, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, Learning, Security, and other functions to ensure projects are well-sequenced and aligned with the broader People Group vision.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end delivery of cross-functional People Group projects, developing and maintaining clear project plans, coordinating and collaborating with necessary teams without relying on direct authority, ensuring effective change management and adoption, contributing to a consistent approach to project delivery within the People Group, and acting as a trusted partner to People teams and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading large, complex cross-functional projects, preferably within a People/HR context, experience with HR technology implementations, a strong understanding of the People/HR functional domain, outstanding stakeholder management skills, well-developed project/program management experience, experience leading change management initiatives, the ability to collaborate with individuals who are not direct reports, excellent problem-solving abilities, a bias for action, and integrity and trustworthiness.
