HRI AI Specialist (Robotics)

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) AI Specialist to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced technologies that facilitate seamless and intuitive interactions between humans and robots, enhancing their capabilities to navigate and communicate effectively across diverse environments.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing intent-recognition models utilizing gaze, gesture, and voice data, programming socially aware navigation algorithms that respect human personal space, and designing visual and auditory feedback systems for the robot's user interface. These tasks are crucial in ensuring our robots can interact naturally and efficiently with users.

We are looking for candidates with a background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or cognitive science as applied to robotics. Experience in conducting user studies and testing interaction paradigms is essential, along with skills in rapid prototyping of AI-driven voice and visual interfaces.
