Humanoid Robotic Engineer
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Humanoid Robotic Engineer specializing in bipedal locomotion and manipulation to join our team in Boston, USA. This role focuses on designing and implementing sophisticated control algorithms, particularly utilizing Reinforcement Learning, to enhance the performance of robotic systems in both simulated and real-world environments.
The successful candidate will develop and implement advanced control algorithms for bipedal locomotion and manipulation. Responsibilities include training Reinforcement Learning policies in simulation and deploying them on physical hardware, as well as conducting sim-to-real transfers and analyzing gait and kinematics telemetry.
Applicants should have a strong background in Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Whole-Body Control. Extensive experience with robotic simulation environments such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim or MuJoCo is essential. Familiarity with modern Reinforcement Learning frameworks is also required.
